Reclaiming their place as the Afropop leader, Ojos de Brujo has returned from its hiatus with a renewed, younger sound. Formed in the seventies, Orchestra Baobab was heralded as one of the inventors in the afropop genre. After breaking up the 1980s, Orchestra Baobab reformulated in 2001 and has already produced numerous albums. Mixing Senegalese, Son, Wolof, and Pachanga together, the band hopes to break into the European market and appeal to interests in this unique style.
