Drummer-extraordinaire is perhaps best known as the drummer for legendary guitarplayer Scott Henderson's Tribal Tech outfit. These days, Covington plays his usual powerful jaz//fusion/blues sets to appreciative Texas locals and visitors with the same ferocity (and humor) that fans have known him for over the years. His residency at Austin's Elephant Room is a popular hangout worth checking out.
